Our Team

Dr. Paul Bonazza is a 1982 Graduate of the University of Western Ontario Dental School in London, Ontario. He did an additional year of study as an Intern at Toronto General Hospital where he had rotations in Oral Surgery and General Anaesthesia. He associated for two years in the Hamilton area before starting Penhorn Dental Center in 1985. Dr. Bonazza has taken an abundance of continuing education courses and most recently has completed a number of courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (visit the website www.lviglobal.com). In the last twelve months alone, Dr, Bonazza has completed over 170 hours of continuing education and is highly trained in the provision of cosmetic dental work and neuromuscular pain relief treatment.

Ms. Robyn Palmer is our receptionist/insurance coordinator. She will schedule your appointments, communicate on your behalf with your insurance company, discuss fees and questions you might have about your account and answer any other questions you might have. Robyn received her diploma in Medical Office Administration from CDI College in Halifax in 2005. She has significant experience in dental administration and is an excellent communicator, very thorough and conscientious in her work. You will find that Robyn is committed to providing you with the highest quality administration of your services in a warm and friendly manner.

Ms. Kendra Fisher is a Level II Registered Dental Assistant. She has significant experience both in general dentistry and in services related to TMD. Kendra attained her Dental Assisting Certificate from the Newfoundland Career Academy in St. John’s in 1997. Kendra is very efficient and meticulous as an assistant but also strives to make our patients relaxed and comfortable. You will find her to be very informative with regard to your dental experience so please ask any questions that occur to you.

Ms. Jennifer (Jen) Bono is a Registered Dental Hygienist with five years experience. She graduated with honors in 2003 from Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia, her original home. Jen is very thorough and committed to your periodontal health. You will find her to be informative and will advise you of your periodontal status and related treatment that is indicated for you.

Ms. Joan Wilson is a Registered Dental Hygienist. Joan graduated from Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1992. She has great skills, is meticulous in her care, and has considerable experience in providing optimal periodontal health. You will find Joan to be a great communicator and motivator and dedicated to high quality, comprehensive dental care.

Mrs. Francine Leach is a Registered Dental Hygienist. After five years experience as a Dental Assistant, she attended Algonquin College and received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene with honours. She is energetic and committed to your periodontal health. She will give you specific, detailed and personalized advice on your dental health needs. You will not only find her to be very easy to communicate with but also very knowledgeable in a broad range of dental procedures.

Mrs. Lynn Whitney-Corbett is our office manager and has fifteen years of experience in dentistry. Lynn handles a myriad of duties in our office. She keeps our office running smoothly and provides valuable support to our entire team. You will find her very helpful particularly if you have any questions or special requests.
